Customer and card identity is not published. Fuel sponsors are not publicly named. Verified claimant listings responsible for strikes are public.
Operator and contact
The service is operated by its disclosed U.S. sole proprietor, doing business as They Took Our Jobs. Privacy requests may be sent to support@theytookourjob.com.
Information collected
- Claims: listing choice, work email, optional note, approval and verification audit data.
- Authentication: hash-only one-time-token and session records, issue/expiry times, and revocation state. Raw bearer tokens are not stored.
- Abuse prevention: keyed hashes derived from IP addresses and email addresses for short rate-limit windows. Raw IP addresses and full recipient addresses are not written to application logs.
- Payments: amount, effect, listing, status, processor event references, refund/dispute state, and accepted policy version. Card numbers, bank credentials, SSNs, and government identity documents are entered directly with processors and are not stored by this site.
- Public activity: paid target, amount/effect, time, and—only for strikes—the verified claimant listing responsible.
How information is used
Information is used to review claims, authenticate claimant representatives, create checkout sessions, deliver paid placement after confirmation, prevent abuse, answer support requests, process refunds/disputes, maintain accounting records, and comply with law and processor obligations.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the site and database. Stripe processes enabled card payments. Resend delivers claimant sign-in email. A crypto provider is not enabled unless eligibility is confirmed in writing and the site separately announces that capability. Providers process information under their own privacy terms.
Cookies and tracking
The claimant session uses a secure, HttpOnly, SameSite cookie that expires after 30 days and can be revoked by signing out or when a claim is transferred or removed. The site does not use advertising cookies. Login emails are configured without open or click tracking.
Retention and disclosure
One-time login links expire after 15 minutes; sessions expire after 30 days. Security and rate-limit records are retained only as operationally necessary. Claim and payment/accounting records may be retained longer for disputes, refunds, tax, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Information may be disclosed to processors, infrastructure providers, professional advisers, or authorities when necessary for those purposes.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, claim transfer, session revocation, or removal through support. Listing removal is free. We do not sell personal information. Applicable privacy rights vary by location and are not limited by this notice.
